Mini-Split Condensate Pumps

Small pumps that lift condensate from a mini-split head when the drain can't run downhill.

Every indoor head makes water when cooling. If the drain line can't fall continuously to the outside, a condensate pump lifts it. Mini-split pumps are small enough to hide in the line-set cover or the head itself, and most include a safety switch that shuts the system off if the water can't drain.

Compare the maker's maximum lift and flow against your run, and remember both fall as lift increases.

Before you buy

  • Lift. Vertical rise plus a margin for horizontal run.
  • Flow. Enough for the head's capacity; larger heads make more water.
  • Noise. Bedroom heads need the quietest pumps.
  • Safety switch. A switch that stops the system on a blocked drain prevents water damage.
