Why it matters
The Slimduct 6.25 in Line Set Covers, 5-Pack hides and protects the line set where it runs down the outside wall: a 5 in channel.
A 3 in channel suits the two lines, wire and drain of most 9,000 to 18,000 BTU systems; larger systems and multi-head runs need a 4 in or wider cover. Covers keep sunlight off the insulation, which breaks down when exposed, and give the run a finished look.
The listing gives plastic construction.
