Why it matters
The VTRONIX Q-380EW Universal Mini-Split Remote replaces a lost or broken mini-split remote by sending the brand's infrared codes. Its listing names Wi-Fi.
IR controllers need a clear line of sight to the indoor head and work by mimicking its remote, so check your brand is supported; maker Wi-Fi kits plug into specific models instead.
